So I decided to go exploring today and look around the town. there are things to do if you put yourself out there. I guess that is the most valuable lesson you learn when you travel. Get your ass up and go. I found a small little beach that is netted in so that the box jellyfish won't get ya. I may do that later in the week. I also searched the park on the side of town and went into some WW2 oil tank storage units. I have also been looking into going to the Didge Hut. You can make your own didgeridoo there and it is owned and operated by the aboriginal people so you know where your money is going. If I buy a didg from a shop around town I dont know how much money goes to them and am not sure who makes it. This way I know. I sent an email enquiring about signing up for the didg making course and am looking forward to making the trip there whenever I feel like going. I have plenty of time though so I can go whenever I want. But it does look promising. Here are a few pictures from the day. Cheers!
